Today

Everything is so calm.

Just the beat of another’s heart;

Keeping time to its own tune.

The wind breaks the trance;

Sending chills through our bones

Reminding us we are alive.

This world flutters.

With no direction,

To every point at once.

Then together.

To another’s waiting arms.

Restless souls dance;

Carelessly tangling strands of being.

A new star born into the sky;

If but for a day,

An hour,

Or a moment,

The feelings and memories will last.

Upon he precipice of,

Something new,

Leaving,

Vibrant Happiness.

With an undertone of uncertainty?
